Hi, everyone! It’s 2009, I’m back and ready for some bloggin’!
We just got home from a sweet trip to New York! Weather was less than optimal, but crowds were minimal. These are the trade-offs of off-season travel. Emily is assuredly going to be posting her own trip report sometime soon. I’ll simply say that walking around NYC, even when the weather’s cold, is great fun, that there is truly no better place in America than New York to eat pizza (but we all knew that already, right?), and that an hour in line at the TKTS booth was totally worth it.
Anyway…some of you may recall my San Francisco Alphabet from a few years ago. That was for a class project. Now, it’s just a game to play and a good way to get some interesting photos in a scenic destination; thus, the New York Alphabet. Actually, it’s really just a Manhattan Alphabet. Even though we did spend all of three minutes on Staten Island and a good portion of an evening in Brooklyn, all of these were taken in Manhattan. And despite the clever title of this post, none were taken in Alphabet City.
