The Man Himself was in Denver on Sunday, where he drew a crowd of ~100,000 to Civic Center Park. I’m pretty sure the last time Civic Center Park was that full of humanity was when the Broncos won the Super Bowl for the first time back in 1998.
We were there, though we’re not diehard enough to drag our asses out of bed early enough on a Sunday morning – Sunday, mind you, the day God Himself slept in – to go get in line to get into the secured area at 6:00 am or whatever. So we didn’t actually see Obama, but we heard him, and he was great.
